Tim and Jess had been planning and saving for their perfect wedding day for several years by the time it came around, they’d actually booked my services back in April 2014 so things must have begun happening some time before that. You could imagine that a long engagement such as this might put a lot of pressure on everything being just right but in fact quite the opposite. Tim and Jess both laughed and giggled their way through the entire day seeming to love every minute of this truly special occasion that they’d invested so much time and energy in organising. Thus proving that perhaps, to steal a line from the Guinness marketing department – ‘the best things come to those who wait!’
I’ve actually known Tim for a number of years as once upon a time, in the days before I became a full time wedding photographer, we worked together surveying river defences for the Environment Agency. We undertook several projects that involved staying away from home for weeks at a time. Tim would often bring his Playstation which along with his dry sense of humour and misguided love for Arsenal always helped to keep the downtime entertaining.
In Jess, Tim has found his perfect partner, she’s beautiful, gentle and kind. While I’m not sure she encourages it, she tolerates his love of Arsenal, and even laughs at most of his jokes! Watching them both together, so natural in each others company was truly something to behold and I wish you both every happiness for the future. Thanks so much for choosing me to document your wonderful perfect wedding for you. You were both an absolute pleasure to work for.
